
The Arid LID Coalition is a professional network of partner organizations and individual collaborators who share a common goal to advance the implementation of arid-adapted green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) and low impact development (LID) in New Mexico and across the southwest.
Members are individuals who have voluntarily registered as Arid LID Coalition Members and strive to uphold the following commitments:
Collaborators are individuals who have self-identified as having a deeper engagement with the Arid LID Coalition. They meet all the commitments of a “Member”, plus the following:
Partners are organizations which have at least one staff member or representative at the Collaborator level. These partner organizations strive to uphold the following commitments:
- Advance the mission and strategic goals of the Arid LID Coalition.
- Serve as a community “ambassador” for GSI/LID in New Mexico and beyond.
- Attend at least one quarterly Coalition meeting per year.
- Actively participate in the network by collaborating with other members and sharing professional resources.
- Communicate with the Steering Committee and Coalition members about their GSI/LID projects.
- Lead GSI/LID projects and/or lend leadership support to Coalition initiatives, including participating in special projects, working groups, or project teams (as capacity allows).
- Encourage staff to actively participate in the Coalition .
- Encourage staff to lead or support collaborative GSI/LID projects.
- Encourage staff to present projects and project learning at Coalition meetings and in formal regional conferences, meetings, webinars, workshops, etc.
